A faster table, and panels that slide in
A performance pass through the rendering path, plus Conditional Formatting and Export reworked into side panels.
- improvedPerformance — Large tables sort, expand and redraw noticeably faster — the visual no longer rebuilds work that has not changed.
- improvedResizing the visual redraws the table without re-running the full data pipeline.
- improvedConditional Formatting and Export — Both now open as a panel that slides in from the right and closes when you click outside it, instead of a docked tab you had to close by hand.
- improvedFooter buttons take their tint from the button colour you set in the format pane, and panel motion is skipped when the operating system asks for reduced motion.
- improvedThe column header filter matches on the displayed “Show Values As” percentage, not only on the underlying number.
- fixedThe vertical sparkline on a column header follows the order the table is currently sorted in.
- fixedA formula column set to Absolute no longer inherits a measure’s percentage mode when a column pivot is in play.
- fixedA text value in a collapsed pivot group shows the first value in the group, matching Power BI’s “First” aggregation, instead of the last.
Plus screen-reader labels on panel close buttons and smaller refinements to the formula and pivot search inputs. Covers builds 2.0.7.33 to 2.0.7.36.
